In response to Miz Vista's yearning for an explanation of my name, Slug Eater, I offer this:
1. Eater of Slugs
Better yet, I'll define slug:
1. The variety of non-printing-related terms describing a snail-like creature, a bullet, a punch, etc.
2. Thick pieces of type metal, like leads, used in spacing, but may also be made of brass (This definition is more thoroughly explained in the American Dictionary of Printing and Bookmaking, which was Republished by Gale Research Company, Book Tower, Detroit, 1967. The ADoPaB is at the press should you care to entertain yourselves!)
